Everything below is either carried out on every job or arranged through a registered contractor. Certificates and documentation are issued to the client on completion and copies are kept on file.
Fully insured
Public and products liability to £1,000,000 each claim, and professional indemnity to £250,000, underwritten by Markel International Insurance Company Limited. Certificate of insurance available on request.
Point-of-work risk assessment
Completed and recorded on site before works commence, on every property.
Electrical works
Carried out by registered electricians. Testing completed and certification issued on completion.
Gas connections
Appliance connections carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers only.
Asbestos
Survey requested before strip-out. Works stop and the client is notified if asbestos-containing materials are encountered.
Waste removal
All waste removed from site and disposed of at licensed facilities.
Risk assessed before a tool comes out of the van.
Void properties are unknown quantities. Every job starts with the same checks, recorded on site.
Point-of-work risk assessment
- Property confirmed safe to enter and free of hazards
- Access and exit routes checked and kept clear
- Services identified and isolated where required
- Asbestos survey requested before any strip-out
- PPE issued and worn throughout
Reporting
- Works stop immediately if asbestos-containing materials are encountered
- Structural defects and damage reported to the client in writing
- Electrical hazards isolated and reported before any further work
- Additional works quoted separately, never assumed
